I read through the list of the 2005 Bloggies nominations tonight and thought, “Whoa, this is quickly becoming a big business.”
I confess to having never visited sites like Wonkette (although I used to read Ana Marie Cox back when she wrote for suck.com in 1996) or Gizmodo. But I ran through the Bloggies nominations, checking each site, and realized there are already media conglomerates in the blogosphere. My god, Wonkette has a double-digit staff!!
I guess it’s bound to happen, hell the washingtonpost.com bought Slate.
Please, don’t buy my salon.com! (Unless, Mother Jones is looking to snap up some digital media property)
This is really just a test comment.
