I was watching Iowa Press last night which had Mike Glover and David Yepsen chatting with Gov. Vilsack and I realized the show was more about the reporters making a name for themselves than Vilsack. After watching Yepsen ask 3 times about independent oversight for the DHS, I thought he was putting on a nice show (both Glover and Yepsen should stick to writing).
My wife then made this comment, “Yepsen looks like Jack Black playing a political reporter.” All of a sudden I had a vision of Yepsen asking the same question the fourth time and getting no response, then he would jump up from his chair and do a little air-guitar riff ala Jack Black. Man, that would be cool.
